To give your carpet the perfect edge and keep it safe from any wear and tear, installing some carpet trim is a must. Nailing it into a concrete surface is not tough to accomplish and with a couple of items and a bit of diligence, you can easily handle it yourself. Here’s what you must do:
To get the right proportions for your carpet trim, first you must determine its length. Then you can snip it to size with a sharp blade or scissor blades.
Position the carpet trim so it abuts the edge of the rug, making sure the sides are in sync.
Firmly fasten the trim to the wall with a hammer and nails; start with the center and nail outward toward the edges.
Gently use a set of pliers to clip off any nails sticking out after the trim is fixed in place.
At last, the hard work is finished! Your carpet trim has been securely installed, ready to safeguard your carpet from everyday wear and tear.
